Minor International Unlikely to Meet 2026 Earnings Guidance

0714 GMT - Minor International is unlikely to meet 2026 revenue and net profit growth guidance, UOB Kay Hian analysts say in a note. The hospitality, restaurant and lifestyle company had previously maintained 2026-2028 guidance, targeting high-single-digit annual growth for revenue and 15%-20% annual growth in net profit. However, the company posted just 5.7% on-year growth for 1H core earnings. "Given the increasing interest burden from the converted perpetuals, we believe that the target of 15%-20% core profit growth is unlikely to be achieved this year," they say. UOB KH maintains a hold rating on the stock and target price of 24.00 baht. Shares last closed at 22.90 baht.
