Super Retail Group Says Macquarie Group Becomes Substantial Holder; Shares Fall 5%

Super Retail Group (ASX:SUL) received notice that Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) and its affiliates became a substantial holder of the company on Aug. 7, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Macquarie Group now owns 12.2 million shares in the company, representing 5.42% of the issued shares, the filing said.
Super Retail Group's shares fell around 5% in recent Wednesday trade, while Macquarie Group declined 1%.
