Standard Nuclear's Early Positioning Supports TRISO Fuel Opportunity, BofA Says

Standard Nuclear's (STDN) early positioning, manufacturing capabilities, and increasing commercial traction support meaningful participation in the tri-structural isotropic, or TRISO, fuel ecosystem, BofA Securities analysts said in a Monday note.

BofA said that the company's total addressable market is linked to TRISO-compatible reactor designs, a smaller but critical subset of advanced nuclear deployment.

Analysts said the company has the potential to participate in multiple TRISO-compatible reactor programs, creating exposure to several deployment pathways for advanced nuclear fuel while avoiding direct reactor-development risk.

BofA said that near-term TRISO demand will likely be supported by microreactor, test-reactor, and demonstration deployments.

BofA initiated coverage on the stock with a buy rating and a $15 price target.
