Matthews International (MATW) appointed Michael Whitehead as CEO, effective Aug. 31.
He succeeds Joseph Bartolacci, who recently announced plans to retire, the company said Tuesday in a regulatory filing.
Whitehead, 52, most recently served as executive vice president and president of Americas Welding at Lincoln Electric Holdings (LECO).
