Shanghai Precilasers' (SHA:688826) initial public offering was oversubscribed by about 6,645 times, exceeding the threshold of 100 times, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The retail offering drew 8.1 million online subscription orders applying for 15.9 billion shares out of the 2.4 million shares on offer in the online portion of the offering, according to a separate filing Monday night.

The laser maker sold 10 million shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange at 186.88 yuan per share, seeking to raise up to 1.87 billion yuan.
