Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Inc (BW) said Tuesday it ordered 20 50-megawatt steam turbine generator sets from Siemens Energy.
The generator sets, with a combined generating capacity of 1 gigawatt, are intended for Babcock & Wilcox's FastPower program, which targets power generation projects for data centers, the company said.
No financial details were disclosed.
