澳大利亚能源部长Chris Bowen周五宣布达到这一里程碑。距离政府推出广受欢迎的家用电池补贴计划还不到14个月。澳大利亚家庭正成为该国能源转型的重要推动力。而在住宅太阳能领域，澳大利亚本已位居全球前列，每三户家庭中就有一户安装了太阳能板。
“这是澳大利亚家庭取得的一项具有全球意义的成就：实现了14吉瓦时的储能容量，”Bowen在新闻发布会上表示。“相比之下，美国全国仅有9吉瓦时储能容量，而其人口规模是我们的12倍。”
