Market Chatter: JPMorgan Cuts Off Banking Access for Polymarket Amid Regulatory Scrutiny

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) has cut off banking access for prediction-market platform Polymarket over regulatory concerns, the Financial Times reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The FT said the move comes as US regulators, including the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, maintain scrutiny of prediction markets.

The US bank still engages with Polymarket, including hosting CEO Shayne Coplan at a private-banking event, while Polymarket said it continued to do business with the bank in some other ways, according to the report.

JP Morgan and Polymarket did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
