路透8月14日 - 根据周五提交给美国证券交易委员会（SEC）的文件显示，埃利奥特投资管理公司（Elliott Investment Management）在第二季度将其持有的西南航空（LUV.N）股份减持了19.9%，这是该公司今年以来的第二次减持。
这家激进投资者目前持有西南航空2430万股。第一季度，其持股量已削减40.6%，降至3030万股。
