Exelon Unit Restores Power to Customers Hit by August Storms

Exelon's (EXC) ComEd unit has restored power to more than 80% of customers affected by severe storms that swept through northern Illinois on Aug. 11 and 12, the company said Thursday.
The storms caused nearly 410,000 outages, with ComEd restoring service to about 328,000 customers, while nearly 4,500 personnel continue restoration efforts across its service territory, the company said.
