路透金奈8月13日 - 印度泰米尔纳德邦政府一位消息人士周四表示，该邦即将与海外企业就十余个新项目签署总价值约 1505亿卢比(15.8亿美元) 的协议 ，这是涉及近100项协议的更广泛推动计划的一部分。
该邦政府在一则报纸广告中表示，将签署97项协议，总价值6745.2亿卢比，预计将创造超过10万个就业岗位。该消息人士称，这一总额包括印度企业的投资以及现有设施的扩建项目。
这是演员出身的政治家约瑟夫·维贾伊（Joseph Vijay）于5月就任首席部长 (link) 以来举办的首届投资峰会，其政府正致力于吸引更多企业投资于印度这一制造业大州。
该消息人士还称，新项目包括美国服务器制造商超微计算机公司（Super Micro Computer） SMCI.O 约50亿卢比的投资，以及总部位于法国的建筑集团圣戈班（Saint-Gobain） SGOB.PA 200亿卢比的投资。
圣戈班、超微计算机及泰米尔纳德邦政府均未立即回应置评请求。
