Origin Energy Fiscal 2026 Underlying Earnings, Revenue Down

Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) logged AU$0.672 in underlying earnings per share for the fiscal 2026, compared with AU$0.864 a year ago, a Thursday filing showed.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$0.67.

For the 12 months ended June 30, revenue was AU$15.57 billion versus AU$17.22 billion previously, the Australia-listed utility and retail company added. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$15.76 billion.

The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.30 per share, unchanged from the prior corresponding period, payable Oct. 2 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 3.

The company expects fiscal 2027 energy markets earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of AU$1.55 billion to AU$1.85 billion and total capital expenditure of AU$450 million to AU$650 million.
