Quectel Wireless Solutions' (SHA:603236) attributable profit rose 28% to 602.3 million yuan in the first half from 471.1 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the wireless communication modules maker increased to 1.49 yuan from 1.29 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue grew 32% year over year to 15.3 billion yuan from 11.5 billion yuan.
Quectel declared a dividend of 0.47 yuan per share.
Shares increased 10% during the midday break on Thursday.
