ChainCatcher 消息，DeFi 平台 Flying Tulip 创始人、Fantom Network 创建者 Andre Cronje 表示，多数 DeFi 协议已不再真正去中心化，仅少数小众领域仍可称为 DeFi。他认为，DeFi 已演变为“链上金融”或“开放金融”。
他指出，真正的 DeFi 应具备去中心化、不可篡改且无中介等特征，而当前多数协议的中介已变为公司，并承担决策者、风险委员会等传统金融机构职能。Cronje 表示，这并不意味着真正的 DeFi 已不存在，部分协议仍在进行创新。
DefiLlama 数据显示，DeFi 总锁仓价值在过去 10 个月内从 2025 年 10 月初的 1670 亿美元降至原文发布时的 750 亿美元，降幅超过一半。
欧洲央行（ECB）在 3 月发布的工作论文中分析了 Aave、MakerDAO、Ampleforth 和 Uniswap，发现基于 2022 年 11 月及 2023 年 5 月持仓快照，上述协议中治理代币持有量最高的 100 个地址均控制超过 80%的代币供应量。ECB 据此质疑相关 DAO 的去中心化程度及其是否应继续被视为不受《加密资产市场监管法案》（MiCA）约束的“完全去中心化”服务。（Cointelegraph）
