路透8月14日-三位知情人士透露，苹果AAPL.O专门为中国市场训练了一个大语言模型(LLM)，与苹果此前在中国市场依赖第三方模型来支持AI功能的策略有所不同。知情人士称，该AI模型是与阿里巴巴9988.HK合作开发的，并在阿里巴巴支持下进行训练。由于信息敏感且尚未公开，这些人士拒绝透露姓名。这是苹果训练专为中国市场设计模型一事首次获得报导。苹果此前倾向于采用中国国内合作伙伴的模型，将生成式AI引入在中国销售的iPhone和其他设备中；而在中国市场，Anthropic的Claude和OpenAI的ChatGPT等美国模型均无法使用。苹果在美国本土市场会将这些美国AI模型与自身技术相结合。苹果和阿里巴巴均未回应置评请求。
