Dimerix Completes Transfer of Acute Kidney Injury Drug Candidate's US Investigational New Drug Application, Shares Up 6%

Dimerix (ASX:DXB) said it completed the transfer of the investigational new drug application in the US for its acute kidney injury drug candidate, DMX-652, from Mission Therapeutics, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Dimerix plans to advance DMX-652 into a phase 2 clinical trial for acute kidney injury associated with cardiac surgery during the second half, to investigate its potential to prevent kidney injury and preserve renal function.
Its shares jumped 6% in recent trading on Monday.
