Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical (RARE) has received accelerated approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for Genglycos to treat glycogen storage disease type Ia, a rare genetic metabolic disorder due to an enzyme deficiency, the drugmaker said. Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical shares were up more than 6% premarket.
