8月17日消息，在今天举行的零碳原点·万象新生2026宁德时代核心运营碳中和发布会上，宁德时代董事长兼CEO曾毓群表示，大家都看到了欧洲最近经历了最热的6月，巴黎气温超过了40度，气候变化是真实发生的危机。与此同时，工业化、电动化、人工智能的发展也持续推高了全球能源和电力需求。电力需求越来越多，碳排放就越来越多。他指出，零碳是使命，更是一种能力。曾毓群表示，相信未来不零碳的电池将被时代淘汰。

　　曾毓群表示，零碳也是巨大的市场机遇。在化石能源时代，减碳常常意味着成本而非利润，控排往往意味着控制发展的机遇，而非增长机会。但是技术进步不断降低绿色能源的成本，零碳的经济性已经很明确，能源的成本可以比80年代低，但是生产工艺过程的成本是不是也可以，也需要研究。
