0518 GMT - Russell Investments sees good value in U.S. Treasurys across the maturity spectrum, says BeiChen Lin, head of Canadian investment strategy at Russell Investments. "We think that Treasurys are paying returns above expected inflation, and can be a useful diversifier in client portfolios," he says. With the economy no longer as overheated as it was in 2022, there will be a natural ceiling on how high bond yields can go from here, Lin says. Russell Investments, would, however prefer the two-year Treasury over the 20- and 30-year bonds in terms of tactical positioning access points.
