工业和信息化部近日再次批复民营卫星物联网业务商用试验。本次批复的浙江时空道宇科技有限公司将开展为期两年的商用试验，这是卫星物联网业务进一步扩大向民营开放的重要举措。
在商用试验期间，时空道宇可依法试点经营卫星物联网业务，依托“吉利未来出行星座（一期）”为用户提供广覆盖、低功耗、高可靠的物联网连接服务，在智慧交通、海洋渔业、能源水利等领域实现全天候、智能化的数据采集与远程交互。
工业和信息化部此前已批复北京国电高科科技有限公司开展卫星物联网业务商用试验，时空道宇是第二家获准进行卫星物联网业务商用试验的民营企业。随着我国卫星通信产业商业化进程不断加速，卫星物联网将成为我国宽带卫星互联网的重要补充。组织开展卫星物联网业务商用试验有利于推动卫星物联网形成规模效应，有助于激发民营经济活力，支持商业航天发展。

组建“天地一体”网络架构
卫星物联网是依托卫星通信系统实现的低速率数据传输通信方式，主要用于上传位置信息、传感器采集的小体量数据，不支持常规互联网上网服务。它能实现全球范围信号覆盖，让位于没有地面网络信号区域的传感器、车辆、船舶、设备也能传输数据。
今年以来，工业和信息化部已经先后批复了北京国电高科和浙江时空道宇两家民营企业开展卫星物联网业务商用试验。
