韩国股市周四大涨近 6%，因投资者押注芯片巨头三星电子和SK 海力士将提高股东回报，同时美国债券市场相关担忧有所缓解。韩元兑美元汇率出现下跌。
韩国综合股价指数（KOSPI）上涨381.41点，涨幅5.89%，收于6852.58点，盘中一度升至6904.55点。
上一交易日，由于科技股抛售，该指数下跌近6%，但在SK海力士宣布拟回购40万亿韩元（约合287亿美元）股票后，市场损失得以收复。与此同时，有消息称三星电子本月晚些时候公布100万亿韩元的股东回报计划。
当地时间上午 10 时左右，韩国交易所（KRX）启动Sidecar机制，暂停KOSPI成分股的程序化买盘5分钟。当 KOSPI 200 期货指数一分钟内涨幅达到 5% 及以上时，就会触发该机制。
隔夜，美国财政部宣布计划大幅增加长期国债回购规模，美债收益率随之回落，华尔街各大主要股指收盘走高。
此前一度攀升至 2007 年以来高位的 30 年期美债收益率回落，基准 10 年期美债收益率同样下行。
