路透8月18日 - 数据中心公司Equinix（EQIX.O）周二表示，已与Flo Energy Singapore签署了一份新的可再生能源电力购买协议（PPA），这是这家总部位于加利福尼亚州的公司过去两年内在新加坡签署的第四份此类协议。
该太阳能购电协议将通过新加坡各地的工业和商业屋顶光伏项目，新增至少11.5兆瓦峰值（MWp）的装机容量，并保留可扩展至50兆瓦峰值（MWp）的选项。
预计到2028年，Equinix在新加坡的可再生能源项目总装机容量将达到215 MWp。
总体而言，Equinix在新加坡签署的协议预计每年将产生约250,000兆瓦时的电力。
Flo 是新加坡最大的独立电力供应商；Equinix 是 Flo 新推出的“数据中心解决方案”所吸引的首家客户。
包括此次购电协议在内，Equinix在11个国家签订的风电和太阳能购电协议总容量已超过1,490 MW。
