BP (BP) began an 11-day planned maintenance program at the Central Azeri platform in Azerbaijan, with production from the platform expected to be reduced but not fully suspended during the work, the company said Wednesday.

Production from the East and West Azeri platforms will also be temporarily curtailed, with the maintenance program including integrity work, flare upgrades, reliability improvements and Central Azeri Gas Expansion project activities, BP said.

The company also said production from other Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli platforms, as well as the Shah Deniz platforms and Sangachal terminal, is expected to continue normally.

BP said the planned turnaround is part of its 2026 annual work program and budget, with the associated production curtailment already incorporated into its annual production forecast.
