美国7月新屋开工活动下降，其中单户型住宅开工降至2022年以来最低。
美国政府周二公布的数据显示，7月新屋开工数下降12.4%，折合年率为124万套。该数据低于经济学家预期值135万套。
单户型住宅开工下降9.9%，折合年率为80.8万套，为2022年11月以来最低。多户型住宅开工下降近17%，在前一个月大幅增长后回落。
新屋开工下降显示美国房地产市场增长依然乏力。自伊朗战争开始以来，抵押贷款利率上升，加之房价仍处高位，持续抑制住房需求。
尽管住宅投资第二季度自2024年以来首次对经济增长形成正贡献，但提振作用微乎其微。新屋开工前景仍然坎坷。
整体建筑许可增加5%，升至2月以来最高水平，可能预示未来几个月建筑活动回升。政府数据显示，单户型住宅建筑许可升至四个月高点。不过，最近一项调查显示，70%的投资专业人士预计今年单户型住宅开工将下降。
