路透北京8月17日 - 中国央行周一宣布，新增平安银行000001.SZ、恒丰银行、渤海银行9668.HK、上海银行601229.SS、杭州银行600926.SS、徽商银行3698.HK、长沙银行601577.SS、广西北部湾银行成为银行类数字人民币业务运营机构，并接入央行端数字人民币系统。
央行官网刊登新闻稿并称，目前，数字人民币业务运营机构已扩容至30家。
中国于2020年启动数字人民币试点，首批运营该业务的10家机构包括六大国有银行，招商、兴业两家头部股份行，以及网商、微众两家头部互联网银行。
2026年4月，中国央行宣布新增中信银行、江苏银行等12家银行为数字人民币运营业务，包括七家股份行和五家头部城商行。这也是城商行群体首次入局数字人民币运营。
随着此次平安、恒丰、渤海入列，中国12家股份行已悉数成为数字人民币业务运营机构。广西北部湾银行是广西唯一的省级城商行，资产总额超过5,500亿元人民币；该行在中国-东盟跨境金融方面具有区位优势且获得政策倾斜。
