金吾财讯 | 阿斯利康（AZN）周一宣布，在经过独立数据监测委员会（IDMC）的中期数据审查后，决定停止其肺癌治疗药物Volrustomig联合化疗的三期临床试验。研究结果显示，与现有的标准治疗方案相比，Volrustomig联合化疗未能显著提升晚期肺癌患者的生存率。阿斯利康肿瘤研发执行副总裁苏珊·加尔布雷斯表示：“虽然对这一结果感到遗憾，但我们将从本次试验中吸取经验，并继续致力于推进业内领先的研发管线，为肺癌患者改善治疗效果。”值得注意的是，这也是阿斯利康在过去一个月内遭遇的第二次重大临床研发挫折。今年7月，该公司刚刚因效果未达预期而终止了针对心脏病新药Wainua的一项试验，曾引发市场对其研发管线的短暂担忧。
