8月17日上午，湖南省人民政府新闻办公室召开《关于加快智能机器人产业发展的实施意见》政策解读新闻发布会。发布会上，省人民政府副省长余红胜介绍，结合我省产业基础、创新能力与市场潜力，湖南锚定工业机器人、服务消费机器人、特种作业机器人等主攻领域，构建全链条产业体系，设定了两个经过努力可以实现的阶段性量化指标：到2028年，全省智能机器人产业链营收力争突破1000亿元，培育5家左右链主企业，打造一批专精特新配套企业；到2030年，全省智能机器人产业链营收力争突破2000亿元，培育10家左右链主企业，产业综合实力进入全国第一梯队。
