National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) is set to loosen eligibility requirements for employees to access their You Leave entitlement, an additional paid leave of a week per year, the Finance Sector Union said in a statement on Tuesday.
Under the changes, eligibility for the entitlement will be assessed annually on Sept. 30 based on actual leave balances, and for fixed-term employees, it will be based on having a minimum 12-month contract in place on Oct. 1.
The employees will not have to exhaust all their other leave entitlements before accessing You Leave, and the requirement to have worked or been on paid leave for at least 90 calendar days in the performance year will be removed.
