JBS表示， 根据周二的收盘价，该公司拟以每股Pilgrim's Pride股票换取2.086股JBS A类股。这相当于每股Pilgrim's Pride股票28.49美元的报价。
周二，JBS股价收于13.66美元，而Pilgrim's Pride股价收于28.49美元。两只股票在盘后交易中均上涨近1%。
这家肉类加工企业目前已持有Pilgrim's Pride约82%的股份， 其市值约为67.8亿美元。
该提议尚需经皮尔格林普莱德独立董事委员会 及少数股东的审查和批准。
该提议出台之际，距离JBS同意与印尼主权财富基金Danantara成立合资企业 (link) 以在多个国家开展蛋白质生产投资仅数日之隔。此前，Pilgrim's Pride还同意以约1.42亿美元收购Walker's Deli & Sausage Company。
