India's Forex Deposit Inflows Hit $65.4 Billion, RBI Says

India attracted nearly $65.4 billion through foreign currency non-resident, or FCNR(B), deposits under the Reserve Bank of India's special swap facility as of Aug. 21, the central bank said.
That, combined with inflows through overseas foreign currency borrowings and external commercial borrowings, brought total forex inflows under the facility to $72.85 billion, according to the RBI.
