Hebei Yangyuan Zhihui Beverage's (SHA:603156) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half rose 15% to 854 million yuan from 743.9 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing over the weekend.
The beverage manufacturer's shares slumped 10% during Monday's midday trade.
Earnings per share increased to 0.68 yuan from 0.59 yuan.
Operating revenue jumped 42% to 3.50 billion yuan from 2.47 billion yuan in the preceding year.
The company plans to pay out a cash dividend of 0.50 yuan per share to shareholders.
