消息面上，白云山公布中期业绩，营业收入420.91亿人民币，同比微增0.6%；归属股东净利润20.96亿元，同比下滑16.7%。上半年利润承压部分原因来源于战略调整，公司上半年研发投入同比增长20.36%，力争通过科技创新打造第二增长曲线，以改革短期阵痛换长期核心竞争力。
财报显示，在研发方面，白云山聚焦恶性肿瘤、慢病管理、大呼吸、免疫系统、男科用药五大优势领域，布局在研项目160多项，其中在研1类创新药11项，2项处于I期临床阶段，4项处于II期临床阶段，1项处于上市许可申请阶段。此外，白云山旗下主营天然饮品业务的子公司王老吉持续加快国际化步伐。
