ChainCatcher 消息，据 CNBC 报道，两名美国财政部高级官员透露，美国财政部可能动用规模接近 1 万亿美元的财政一般账户（TGA），为其近期宣布扩大政府债券购买计划提供资金支持。使用 TGA 账户将赋予财政部更强的能力，以影响长期债券收益率。
上周，美国财政部意外宣布，将把长期“非指标债”（off-the-run securities）的回购规模从 20 亿美元提高至至少 40 亿美元。美国财政部长贝森特表示，此类操作规模甚至可能超过这一新的最低水平。不过，财政部当时并未说明将如何为这些购买行动提供资金。
多数市场参与者此前认为，财政部会通过增加短期国债（国库券）发行来筹集资金。如果动用 TGA 账户，市场对这一计划的看法可能发生变化。
TGA 本质上是美国政府在美联储开设的“支票账户”，类似于政府的应急资金池。该账户资金已经来自现有税收收入。
