Helloworld Travel Unit Advises Webjet Group of Withdrawn Director Nominations

Retail Travel Investments, a Helloworld Travel (ASX:HLO) subsidiary, notified Webjet Group (ASX:WJL) of its decision to withdraw the nominations of Andrew Burnes and Cinzia Burnes for election as directors of Webjet, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The nominations, which were the subject of resolutions 5 and 6 in the notice of meeting for the company's annual general meeting, will not be voted on by shareholders, the filing said.

Helloworld Travel shares rose nearly 1% in morning trade Monday, while Webjet Group shares fell past 1%.
