IonQ's (IONQ) Skyloom Global said Monday that dozens of additional optical communication terminals have been deployed in orbit, bringing the total number of its on-orbit installations to 84.

The terminals were carried aboard York Space Systems satellites that launched on a SpaceX (SPCX) Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on July 16.

The latest deployment marks the second deployment of space vehicles equipped with Skyloom OCTs and builds on terminals launched during the Space Development Agency's first Tranche 1 mission in September 2025.

The terminals support the agency's Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture, Skyloom Global said.

Shares of IonQ were down 3.2% in Monday premarket trading.
