欧洲央行执行委员会成员Piero Cipollone对媒体ilsussidiario表示，欧洲央行不应过度收紧货币政策，以免损害经济。
“货币政策行动需要精准调校，”这位意大利官员在周一发布的采访中说，“如果出现供给侧冲击，例如石油危机，那么提高利率以使通胀稳定在目标水平附近，可能会抑制已经受到负面冲击影响的经济增长。”
欧元区经济对伊朗局势展现出令人惊讶的韧性，第二季度增长0.4%，强于预期，且情绪指标近几个月来转为乐观。
同时，通胀仍远高于欧洲央行2%的目标，目前为2.9%，官员们正在权衡继6月份首次加息25个基点之后，是否需要在下个月再次加息。
Cipollone说：“尽管欧洲经济增速放缓，但其韧性比预期更强，通胀率仍与6月发布的最新预测基准情景一致，而且似乎距离不利和严重的情景还很远。”
他补充说，目前“没有任何迹象表明会出现滞胀局面”。
