Skanska to Build Data Center Near Prague for Around $100 Million

Skanska said it signed a contract to build a new data center on the outskirts of Prague, Czech Republic, worth 2.1 billion Czech koruna ($101.7 million).
The Swedish construction company said Monday the project would include construction and non-IT technologies. The first phase covers site infrastructure, foundations and the concrete skeleton of the building.
Work on the project starts this month with completion scheduled for 2028, Skanska said.
The contract will be included in its third-quarter 2026 order bookings for Europe.
