7月季调后美国非农就业人数减少，结束了此前连续5个月的增长态势，叠加5、6月就业数据下修，反映出此前就业热度被高估。此次就业数据下滑的主要原因是暑期人员调整与地方财政压力导致的地方政府教育部就业人员减少。失业率虽然呈现下降趋势，但实际原因是劳动力供给收缩，7月录得26.4万人退出劳动市场，从而压低失业率读数，反映美国劳动力市场动能有所减弱。美国同期通胀呈现温和回落态势，由于先前中东局势一度缓和使得国际油价显著回落，7月CPI同比增长3.4%，较6月下降0.1个百分点，但整体通胀水平仍高于美联储2%的目标值。在就业相对疲软以及通胀依旧顽固的背景下，市场预期美联储收紧货币政策的节奏将放缓，9月加息的概率有所下降。
