路透8月21日 - 克利夫兰-克利夫斯公司（CLF.N）周五表示，将匹配美国能源部提供的5亿美元拨款，使该钢铁制造商对米德尔敦工厂的升级改造总投资达到10亿美元。

此举重新界定了Cliffs公司于2024年 (link) 获得的5亿美元拨款用途，旨在通过将现有的高炉替换为支持氢能的直接还原铁装置和两座电熔炉，实现其位于俄亥俄州米德尔敦工厂的脱碳目标。
