Home Depot (HD) said Thursday it has expanded its Magic Apron artificial intelligence shopping assistant to include localized store knowledge across all 2,000-plus US stores.
The capabilities enable customers to locate products, receive project guidance and get answers tailored to their local Home Depot stores while shopping, according to the company.
Home Depot said customers can interact with Magic Apron through text, voice-to-text, image uploads and multiple languages. The assistant is available through the Home Depot mobile app's Store Mode or by scanning QR codes on in-store signage, the company said.
Home Depot said Magic Apron is already taking millions of questions per month.
