8月26日，纽约商品交易所（COMEX）9月交割铜期货价格一度上涨1.8%至6.7270美元/磅（约合每吨14830美元），超过8月12日创下的6.7140美元/磅前期纪录，刷新历史新高。伦敦金属交易所（LME）三个月期铜涨至每吨14437美元/吨，逼近1月创下的历史最高价14527.5美元/吨，与纽约价差约500美元/吨。市场对美国可能自2027年1月起对精炼铜征收15%关税（2028年提至30%）的预期持续扰乱全球铜贸易流向。数据显示，美国2026年上半年进口精炼铜88.98万吨，同比增长2.1%，2025年作为记录以来进口量最高的一年，全年进口水平为165.44万吨。截止8月24日，COMEX铜库存已达到创纪录的676104吨，若美国进口量维持当前增速，美国以外铜市场实际将陷入供应短缺。
