Bank of Changsha's Attributable Profit Jumps 5.1% in H1

Bank of Changsha's (SHA:601577) attributable profit rose 5.1% to 4.55 billion yuan in the first half from 4.33 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the bank increased to 1.13 yuan from 1.08 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue grew 4% year over year to 13.8 billion yuan from 13.2 billion yuan. Net interest income went up 6.8% to 10.3 billion yuan from 9.66 billion yuan. Net fee and commission income slid 19% to 788.7 million yuan from 968.3 million yuan

Loan loss provisions expanded to 21.3 billion yuan from 19.8 billion yuan. The non-performing loan stayed flat at 1.15%.

Directors declared a dividend of 0.22 yuan per share.
