花旗集团将黄金三个月目标价上调至每盎司4800美元，此前美国财政部宣布加大长期债券回购规模，推动金价上涨。
包括Kenny Hu在内的分析师在研报中写道，金价上涨动能“仍有进一步释放空间”。
分析师表示：“到目前为止，本轮上涨主要由投机资金推动，尤其是期货资金流入。若涨势要得以持续，实物需求需要跟上。”
花旗维持6‑12个月5000美元/盎司的黄金目标价不变，理由是霍尔木兹海峡局势最终得到解决、实际利率下行以及美联储立场转鸽。
分析师称，美联储主席凯文·沃什即将在杰克逊霍尔研讨会发表的讲话，将给金价带来双向风险。
“倘若沃什释放鹰派论调，当前黄金涨势或将就此终结。”分析师补充，本轮金价上涨带有投机属性，金价很容易出现快速回调。
