加拿大宣布，自9月8日起对700多种美国商品征收反制关税，税率分为15%、25%和50%三档，涉及进口总额约276亿加元（折合199亿美元），金额基于2024年进口数据。
其中，50%最高税率主要针对钢铝制品、家具、服装、高尔夫球杆等品类。具体清单如下：
50%关税：
钢铝制品、牛奶及乳制品（奶油、乳清等）、蜂蜜、糖蜜及麦芽提取物、香水及美容产品、胶合板、服装、智能手机、显示器及视频游戏机、摩托车、家具及灯具、高尔夫球杆及健身器材。
25%关税：
鱼类及水产品、奶酪及凝乳、卫生纸及纸制品、地毯、家用电器（炉灶、冰箱、洗碗机、洗衣机/烘干机）、散热器及暖气片、热水器、餐具、铁路机车、拖车、部分机械及工具。
15%关税：
空调、部分农用设备。
此次反制是对美国周末加征新关税的直接回应。加拿大总理马克·卡尼明确表示，加方采取等额报复措施。
据白宫知情官员透露，美国政府内部已在讨论对加拿大进一步升级贸易惩罚，可能包括加征更高关税及其他贸易行动。该官员表示，美加上周末谈判破裂后，特朗普总统手握多项可用于此次争端的政策工具，预计美方将作出回应。
