SDIC Power's (SHA:600886) attributable profit fell 6.8% to 3.54 billion yuan in the first half from 3.79 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the power generation company decreased to 0.4330 yuan from 0.4763 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue declined 7.1% year over year to 23.9 billion yuan from 25.7 billion yuan.
Company shares fell 2% during morning trading on Friday.
