Industrial Bank's Attributable Profit Slides 4.7% in H1; Shares Fall 3%

Industrial Bank's (SHA:601166) attributable profit fell 4.7% to 41.1 billion yuan in the first half from 43.1 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the bank decreased to 1.75 yuan from 1.76 yuan in the prior-year period.

Operating revenue slipped year over year to 110.2 billion yuan from 110.5 billion yuan. Net interest income fell to 72.8 billion yuan from 73.8 billion yuan.

Loan loss provisions increased to 149.9 billion yuan from 146.8 billion yuan. The non-performing loan ratio stayed flat at 1.08% in the first half compared with the end of the second half of 2025.

The bank's shares fell 3% during morning trading on Friday.
