1222 GMT - The cost of euro credit default protection stays steady as markets calm following reports that Iran and Oman held talks with the aim of reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices are down 2.4% to $86.4, easing inflation fears. Investors await Nvidia's earnings, set to be released after the U.S. market close, to provide clues on the strength of the AI industry. The iTraxx Europe Main index of euro investment-grade credit default swaps is unchanged at 51 basis points, S&P Global Market Intelligence data show.
