Leader Harmonious Drive Systems' (SHA:688017) attributable profit rose 31% to 70.1 million yuan in the first half from 53.4 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the maker of strain wave reducers increased to 0.3824 yuan from 0.2915 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue grew 39% year over year to 348.5 million yuan from 251.4 million yuan.
Shares rose over 1% in afternoon trade Thursday.
