Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank's Attributable Profit Rises Marginally in H1

Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank's (SHA:601825) attributable profit rose marginally to 7.07 billion yuan in the first half from 7.01 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the bank stayed flat at 0.73 yuan.

Operating revenue grew 1.8% year over year to 13.7 billion yuan from 13.4 billion yuan. Net interest income went up 3.6% to 9.97 billion yuan from 9.63 billion yuan.

Loan loss provisions shrank 4.9% to 23.1 billion yuan from 24.3 billion yuan. The non-performing loan ratio slipped to 0.94% as of the end of the first half from 0.96% at the end of the second half of 2025.

Directors declared a dividend of 2.499 yuan per 10 shares, or 0.2499 yuan per share.
