Boston Scientific, which last week reported that a cyberattack was hampering its ability to fill orders, said it hopes to resume some shipments this week.

Boston Scientific late Sunday said it is working expeditiously toward partial restoration in order to ship some products this week, adding that it expects ordering and shipping will ramp up to full capacity once it can demonstrate the restoration is fully operable.

The Marlborough, Mass., medical-technology company said it is able to take orders electronically and place them in a queue for future fulfillment.

Boston Scientific said the investigation into the global network disruption to some of its operating systems and business applications is continuing, and that it is working with CrowdStrike and other cybersecurity experts.

The company said it has seen no indication of unauthorized activity in its environment related to the incident since Aug. 25, and that the unauthorized activity is limited to certain on-premise systems, with no impact to its cloud-based systems and applications.
